Cannoli is one of the most popular desserts in the island of Sicily also known as Cannoli Siciliani. The Cannoli It means "tubes" Obviously because of its tube like pastry shell that is filled with sweet ricotta cream. Sicilian culinary historian Giuseppe Pitre calles the cannoli's the "Corona del pranzo carnevalesco", the crown of the carnival lunch.
Our cannoli's are made from homemade fluffy sweet ricotta cream, pistachio and dark chocolate bits with candied orange peel then finally wrapped in a hand-rolled crispy golden pastry shell all made in house from scratch.
And yes, we make our own ricotta cheese.
